Autumn 2025 A&P Shows

There’s nothing we love more than connecting with our communities and we recently had the pleasure of doing just that at three fantastic events: the Temuka Geraldine A&P Show in Winchester, the South Island Agricultural Field Days in Kirwee, and the Mackenzie A&P Show in Fairlie.

At each event, we engaged with farmers and rural residents, sharing important information about safety around power lines and energy savings. Given the unique challenges faced by farmers—such as the use of large equipment, power lines running through paddocks, and the presence of mature trees on rural properties—our goal was to raise awareness and promote safety.

Impressions from our A&P show stall

Young and old had a blast with our bucket truck rides, and we were thrilled to see so many excited faces doing something our crews do every day. We welcomed a fantastic range of people to have a go and explore new heights with us. From brave little 2 year olds to Frances, an 80 year old customer who ticked off an item on her own “bucket” list by joining the crew for a ride!  Our merchandise giveaways, featuring handy emergency fault number magnets and fun frisbees, also included native tree seedlings to encourage planting wisely and safely around electricity equipment.

We came away from these events feeling truly connected and energised by the passion and enthusiasm within our community. Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us and made these events so memorable!
