Powering the future with smarter data insights

We’re improving how we use data to deliver more reliable, responsive services to our communities. Recently, Natasha Gillison and Ben Faulks from Hiko Energy Insights (SmartCo) spent time onsite with our team, running hands-on sessions to help us get even more value from the Hiko platform.

Working across Future Network Planning, Control Room and Operations, the sessions focused on:

• Real-time outage management in the control room
• Integrating data to improve day-to-day workflows
• Managing and triaging ‘no hot water’ calls with full visibility in Hiko

“It was great to see how quickly the team could apply what they learned in real-world scenarios - the platform is really starting to become part of everyday decision-making,” commented Mikaela Farr, GIS Team Lead.
