If you’re putting in solar panels, wind generation or any kind of small scale power generation and want to apply to feed power back into the grid, you will first need to apply to connect distributed generation.
Your application can take up to 30 days for it to be considered.
The below information outlines the process to be followed by if you're interested, or want to apply for a connection of distributed generation of any form such as solar, wind, hydro, bio gas etc, to our electricity network
