This achievement reflects our ongoing focus on health and safety excellence in maintaining and operating the electricity network across South Canterbury. As the region's electricity distributor, we understand the critical importance of safe work practices, and this certification validates our commitment to protecting our people and the public while delivering a reliable power supply.

SiteWise, managed by Site Safe NZ, is a prequalification system designed to evaluate the health and safety practices of contractors in New Zealand’s construction and related industries.  A score of 90% or above earns Gold status, signalling a company’s excellence in safety management and adherence to industry best practices.
