Connexis Annual Connection Event

A massive congratulations to the NETcon crew who participated in the Connexis Annual Connection event, hosted by PowerNet. During this 3-day competition, these skilled line mechanics and cable jointers demonstrated their expertise and the essential knowledge they use daily to keep the power flowing to homes and businesses in South Canterbury.
We were thrilled to witness the crew being recognised at the Excellence Awards ceremony, with Jamie MacQueen receiving two well-deserved awards for his cable jointing skills. Additionally, the line's team received accolades for their outstanding pole fitting skills, and Luke Thornley was honoured as the best team leader! Overall, the line's team placed 3rd in this prestigious nationwide competition!
